Physician Experience

Dr Isabelle Jeffress is a Board Certified Internist and Pediatrician.She is a 1991 graduate of Rice University, where she double majored in Biology and French. Afterward, she obtained her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1995. Dr Jeffress went on to complete her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency in 1999. She subsequently was asked to join the faculty and worked at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center for 7 years. During that time, she served as Assistant Professor in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and thus taught young doctors how to assess, diagnose and treat patients.

While at UTHSC, she was also the Medical Director of Student Health Services, where she served as the private physician to medical students and other doctors. In addition, Dr Jeffress was instrumental in providing Telemedicine medical services to patients in remote locations of South Texas, where medical care is scarce.

Dr Jeffress is a current member of local, regional, ad national professional associations, including the Brazoria County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A Pearland Resident since 1995, she spends her free time with her husband Jeff and her 2 children.
